x How to get there Catania is well connected with the main
Italian cities by means of its international airport. From the airport, the city center can be
reached by shuttle “Alibus”
(4€, every 25 minutes; main stops: Bellini Ovest,
Stesicoro, Dusmet) or
by taxi (25-30€). Amigo car-sharing
is also available. Monastero dei Benedettini is about 800m away from Piazza Stesicoro. It can be reached by bus: line 503 from
Piazza Borsellino (Porto, Archi della Marina) to
Piazza Dante; line 902 from Piazza della Repubblica
(Stazione Centrale) to via Vittorio Emanuele and
then continue walking on via Quartarone to Piazza
